Almost 1700 criminals were released yesterday, as the government tries to fix overcrowding in our prisons.
Many were pictured celebrating with friends and family, and being sprayed with sparkling wine.
The government says it was left with no other option but police fear many convicts will end up homeless or returning to crime.
