Tri-Stand is a multi-angle, 3D-printable tablet stand designed by my 6th grade class at Calistoga Elementary School during our #InventionHour
We have been using Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 convertible tablets for a 1:1 paperless classroom over the past two years, and needed to stop using the Lenovo keyboards due to issues with bluetooth, etc. We invested in some adjustable stands ($8-9 each off of Amazon), but due to poor design and construction, they started breaking. So we invented our own!
The Tri-Stand has solid, one-piece construction, making it easy to print, easy to use, and durable. The stand allows for 3 angles designed for different use-cases:
a 70-degree angle for desktop-computing setup
a 45-degree angle for e-books and touch-screen use
a 30-degree angle for ergonomic improvement and glare reduction when writing/drawing on the tablets
They can be printed for as little as $1 per stand! To obtain yours, visit www.TriStands.com
