To succeed as a seller on Meesho, it is necessary for your uploaded product quality to be in perfect state. If there are any issues, Meesho's Quality Check team will raise a listing error. In this video, we will talk about how to find and spot these product listing errors or Quality check errors quickly on Meesho, and fix them using the Supplier Panel to get QC Passed status for all your products.

For a Bulk product, you will have to download the error file on the Supplier Panel. Also, keep the original excel file handy while correcting the errors.

In the error file, you will see all the errors with “Error Tab” and “Fill-this Tab” Error Status and Error Message Column. You will have to make changes to your original file after looking at these errors. Once done, you will have to save the file and update it by going back to the product listing error or Quality check error Page and clicking on “upload new file”. The product will then become live once it passes the Quality Check.

The type of Errors that you can face:
Wrong Category Error: If you see this error, it means that you have uploaded an incorrect product template. For example, you had to upload a Women's Kurti, but you used Men’s Pants template. To correct this, you will have to download the corrected product template from the 'product Upload' section in the Admin Panel.

Duplicate SKU ID and Product ID Error:
When you see this error on the “Error tab”, it means that there is an error in your SKU ID and Product ID. Product ID error tab occurs when you have given the same ID to color variation products. You will have to give a unique Product ID to each color variation.

SKU ID errors occur for three reasons:
(i) When SKU ID matches a product already uploaded by you earlier. Each SKU ID must be kept separate. So if you are not sure about it, you can leave the SKU ID section blank.
(ii) When you insert special characters in SKU.
(iii) When you mention your price on SKU ID.

To correct this product listing error or Quality check error, make sure that Product ID for each color, and SKU ID for each size must be unique.

Image Link Error:
When you see this message in the error sheet, it means that your error has been caused by the Image Link. You can fix this error by entering the link for the first image in each product correctly. You can do this by clicking on the "Images Bulk Upload" section of the admin panel, and upload the correct images there.
Product Description Error: Make sure that the description you enter is less than 1000 characters.

Image Upload Error: Following the correct image upload guidelines is crucial for your success on Meesho. Whenever you upload the Product Images, always keep in mind that the first image of each product in the product must be of the front side only, and must be absolutely clear. If there is text or watermark on the images, they will not be accepted as the main image either. Images must not contain brand logo or price either. Our suggestion is that the product images should be in JPEG format and their size should be between 500KB and 700KB.

QC Failed status may happen for other reasons too which we will cover in-depth in the video.

For Single Upload, the procedure is very similar, but it will be directly done on the product Upload section of the admin panel. You can identify all the products with product listing error or Quality check error by looking at this QC Status column.
