The 2006 Mac Mini is a tiny computer that has a few interesting upgrade options. You can replace the CPU with the t7200, upgrade to a SATA SSD drive and technically get all the way to 4GB of Memory after running a firmware update to go from a 1,1 mac mini to a 2,1 mac mini.
All said and done you can upgrade from a max of 10.6 to 10.7 Mac OS, which is nice, but not perfect.
How does this upgraded Mac Mini perform? Well, I will dive into exactly that - and try to answer the question of 'Is it worth it?' and how does it compare to a similar computer in the 2007 iMac?
