The 1:1 Paperless Classroom Process
In this video, I'm going to explain the "paperless process" we are using in my 1:1 paperless classroom this year.
Essentially, going paperless requires considering 2 things:
1) How to use technology to deliver content -- which has traditionally been done in print (ie. textbooks) but now can mean eBooks, videos, tutorials, simulations, and games for practice.
2) How to use technology to PRODUCE content: traditionally, students have also demonstrated their knowledge on paper -- essays, reports, posters, artwork, worksheets, and tests. In a truly paperless classroom, ALL of those things can be replaced with a technology device... in additional to new, authentic media such as video production, animations, websites, or even programmed apps.
