You are asking yourself how to subscript in Word? In this tutorial I am going to show you how to type an index in Word in 2 different ways.
Procedure:
To subscript in Word you can simply click the subscript button in the "Home" tab and the subscript will start. When you are done, simply click the subscript button again.
Another way for doing a subscript in Word is by inserting an equation into the document. For that go to the "Insert" tab and click on "Equation". After that you need to insert the correct script and then you can type in the basis and the index.
Why all that?
Often it is needed to insert mathematical formulas in Word or insert some information as a number or character with an index. To do that there are two possibilities.
This tutorial for #subscript in #Word should work for Word 2007, Word 2010, Word 2013, Word 2016, Word 2019 and also Office 365. This also works with Microsoft Office on a Mac and also with open source software such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
