According to current information, mobilization drills of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus on the Volyn and Polissia fronts have been prolonged until 9 July 2022. (earlier it was announced that the exercises would last from 22 June until 1 July). Military commissariats in Gomel Oblast are issuing summonses as part of the drills. Furthermore, physicians are not permitted to leave Belarus.
On the Sivershchyna front, Russia continues to deploy up to three battalion tactical groups from the Western Military District's 1st Tank Army and 20th Combined Arms Army, as well as airborne forces, to protect the Russian-Ukrainian border in Bryansk and Kursk oblasts (Russia). Russian soldiers opened fire on Ukrainian Defense Forces positions in border-adjacent Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts.
Russia has used electronic warfare on cities and villages in Belgorod Oblast (Russia), near the Russian-Ukrainian border, to disrupt Ukrainian Defense Forces command and communication infrastructure.
