The president hopes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon use some of the fighter jets in combat. He also appealed to countries that will not be able to provide Ukraine with F-16s in the near future.
“You can't provide it right now, okay. We are turning to the planes that are on the territory of neighboring NATO countries: Remove them... Hit targets, protect civilians. Can they do that? Of course yes. Is this an attack or an intervention by NATO countries? No,” the President said.
Zelensky was very clear that NATO must help Ukraine more. NATO cannot remain silent on this war. They have talked many times about bringing Ukraine into NATO. Now they need to act on this issue.
