There are hundreds of different ways to make a tomato sauce in Italy.

Once you try a tomato sauce form scratch you’ll never go back to store bought ones.
INGREDIENTS ( Serving 4, depending on the use)
Tomatoes 8/9 average size
Extra virgin olive oil about 5/6 tbsp
Garlic or onions or shallots (depending on your taste)
Basil, Salt to taste

TIPS/ADJUSTMENT

You can add 1 or 2 whole garlic cloves, slice it, dice it or mince it very small according to how much flavor you want in the sauce. The smaller the more flavor.

If the tomatoes are not purring out enough water You might need to add some before letting the sauce simmer.

It’s very common adding some black pepper other than salt and basil.
