Manage Scheduling Priorities with Schedtool | Linux Guide
Schedtool is a tool I recently discovered that allows you to control the priority of different processes and even commands on linux. One of the main uses I've found for it is putting my compiles on idle priority to allow for more usability of my system as I update or install software.
