CMC’24 – Connect, Collaborate, Commit: Connect to CMC’s commitment to a greener future with this video primer on addressing the most pressing issue of our time, in collaboration with the audience, recognising their needs and their commitment.

Discover the many and varied ways in which creators and makers can incorporate climate crisis ideas in kid-friendly ways into content of all styles and formats. From ‘Moana’ to ‘Springwatch’, from ‘Octonauts’ to ‘Go Green with the Grimwades’, there are many routes to involve the young audience in exciting and stimulating ways without focusing on grim futures or anxiety-inducing scenarios. Being realistic about what the young can do and where the real responsibilities lie, but also reflecting their passion and commitment to a better future for themselves and the world, are keys to successful stories. Allowing imagination and fantasy their place will make your content fly.

In this 8-minute video Lucy Stone from climate content consultancy Climate Spring offers a quick run down on what creators and producers can aspire to. It’s the opening salvo in CMC’s new Sustainability Now strand. Watch out for Sustainability Now sessions at CMC in July and a Climate Spring inspired SkillBuilder workshop on developing popular climate content stories.
