What's on the Pile - Hudson Hawk
Tonight’s film is very near and dear to me. It was a massive flop, both theatrically and critically, and yet, I still love it. Hudson Hawk, directed by Michael Lehmann of Heathers fame, stars Bruce Willis in the lead, with Danny Aiello, Richard E Grant, Sandra Bernhardt, Andie McDowell, James Coburn, and some more fun people as our cast. It tells the story of a cat burglar, just out of prison, ready to start his life clean and anew, when a series of wacky hijinx—yes, I mean WaCkY hijinx—puts him in a war between the CIA, the Vatican, and two demented billionaires who want to rule the world. What do they want? DaVinci’s gold making prism, to make gold. Anyway, it’s a hoot.
