In this video, you're going to learn some social media marketing tips that will help you grow your small business and build a brand.

Following these tips will help your audience gain familiarity with your brand so they will get to know, like, and trust you, making it easier for you to sell to them and build brand loyalty.

First up is to make sure you are choosing the right platform, I'll give you a strategy you can use to make sure you know your target audience is on a particular platform before you invest time and energy building a presence there.

Next is to have consistency across your accounts so those who may be visiting your website or your page on another platform will know it's the same brand.

The third is a strategy for you to be able to have people who follow you on one platform to easily follow you on another. Doing this cross-promotion will help build your audience on multiple platforms and give your audience more ways to engage with your brand.

Then I go into how you can make it easy for visitors to your website to share your content and follow you without needing to leave.

After that, I cover a strategy that many businesses don't think about (this includes your competitors) when creating content. Social media is a place for sharing and by implementing this, you can have confidence that your posts will get shared and reach more people.

Sixth is to do some spying on your competitors. Find out what they are doing, how to know if it's working, and implement similar ideas into your marketing plan.

And lastly is how to be social, gain trust with your audience, and still get sales and leads without being "that guy" or "that gal" that always tries to sell.
