Get Good DIY Lighting Anywhere 🌞
Lighting is the game when it comes to good looking video.
But good lighting can be terribly expensive.
A single lamp can cost you $1500+. Then you need the space and diffusion.It’s massive hassle.
So, use natural light instead.Use the sun. It’s free, it’s powerful, it looks cinematic. It’s perfect. Just frame yourself and shoot.
If you can’t use the sun for practical reasons — find a way to bounce it. There are professional light bounces that you can pay a few bucks for, but any white (or light colored) object will do. Try walls, whiteboards, curtains, and everything else white in your house.
Finally play with your positioning and viola. You’ve got your shot.
PS: Yes, you’ll have to shoot during the day. It’s not a perfect solution for everything.
