1.2 The Ideal Gas (Thermal Physics) (Schroeder)
In this video, I introduce the Ideal Gas law, along with a simple model that allows us to relate the average kinetic energy of particles of gas to the temperature of the gas. The ideal gas is very accurate as long as the temperatures and pressures are well above the boiling point. The simple model, however, is very accurate, even for liquids.
