Having experience with calculating multiplicities, let's get to the definition of Entropy. We'll calculate entropy for Einstein Solids and the Ideal Gas. We'll look at how Entropy is created, including the Entropy of Mixing. We'll talk about the Gibbs Paradox and Maxwell's Daemon. Finally, we'll look at the heat death of the universe and the Big Bang. In future sections, we'll get a lot of experience with entropy and become more familiar with how it works in relation to other thermodynamic properties.
