What if we were to consider momentum instead of energy? This gives us the property of viscosity. The homework problem is to solve the equation to calculate the viscosity of an ideal gas yourself, but we'll talk about two important conclusions: Gasses get more viscous as temperature rises, while liquids get less viscous.
