Whispers of an Oasis reunion are par for the course in terms of Manchester's musical landscape, but in recent days the rumour mill has gone into overdrive.
In the past few days alone, Liam Gallagher has been responding to growing rumours that an Oasis reunion may be on the cards sooner than we thought, amid reports of a possible gig announcement due in the next few days.
Leaving not-so subtle clues on social media, the former frontman has told fans he'll see them 'down the front', and told them to 'enjoy' one day at time when suggesting dates when an announcement could be due.
Brothers Liam and Noel were a part of the famed Britpop group, formed in the 1990s before they split in 2009, prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. And while this isn't the first time Liam has stoked the fire in terms of an Oasis revival, it comes amidst growing speculation that this time, it really could be true.
