Huge haul of cannabis seized by NCA officers at airport
This is the huge haul of drugs seized by National Crime Agency officers at Birmingham Airport.
As the camera pans down the corridor, black, brown, red, blue and grey suitcases stand side by side. Above them, on a long table, huge plastic bags are piled up high. In them is a whopping haul of over 500 kilos of cannabis.
Minutes before, eleven people were stopped at Birmingham Airport. They were all arrested on suspicion of importing class B drugs into the country.
The NCA has released the footage following recent reports that seizures of the drugs at airports has tripled in less than a year.
