The episode begins with Asahi, a novice adventurer, on a mission to hunt slime monsters. He easily defeats them, but his older sister Mayani appears and effortlessly obliterates all the slimes with her fiery power. X, a weary and battle-worn warrior, is no match for Mayani's strength. Asahi goes out exploring the city, and finds a note left by Asahi warning her to stay warm and not catch a cold. He is amazed by Cleimaria's magic and throws him far away to collect the rainbow-colored mushrooms that grow in the Cloudio forest.
Suddenly, a huge bear wearing clothes and speaking appears, seeking revenge on Cleimaria for killing 13 of his friends. Asahi is shocked and frightened, but Cleimaria tells him that she has no interest in the weak and will not attack him. They both attack each other, each using their own power.
