For my pedalboard I ran into the program that I couldn't freeze or sustain the guitar and faux bass sounds at the same time since the Poly Sustain effect in the Line6 HX Stomp isn't stereo. The effect also takes up so much DSP power that you could only use 1 at the time and it leaves hardly any room for other effects.

So I bought two Electro Harmonix Freezes but I didn't want to step on two pedals at the same time, so I searched online and found out there's an easy mod to add a footswitch jack input. Then I decided to make a new program for the Arduino based Red Remote to control both of them while sending Midi signals to the HX Stomp. I've made other programs for this remote before:

Midi sync for the Boss RC-3 Loop Station:    • DIY Footswitch for the Boss RC3 and m...

Virtual Expression with LFOs:    • DIGIPOT instead of regular Expression...

This new program contains 5 different ways to control the two EHX Freezes along with the Line6 HX Stomp:
1: All Freeze Modes. Since the Freeze has 3 modes (Fast, Slow and Latch), you can leave the Freeze on Fast mode and use its footswitch accordingly, the Slow and Latch mode are mimicked by the Red Remote in combination with the HX Stomp.
2: Solo and Mute. This is is for a stereo/dual mono setup and while freezing two sound sources, it mutes one input and allows the other to solo over the freezed sound. It's available for both sound sources and has latching and momentary footswitch functions.
3: Dual Layer. The remote alternates between the two Freezes to create two layers of Freezed sounds. You can manually change each layer at any given time.
4: Triple Layer. Same as the Dual Layer program but with a third layer provided by the Poly sustain effect in the HX Stomp.
5: Infinite Freeze. One Freeze stores its sound (plus the current input) in the other one, creating an infinite freeze that slowly decreases or increases in volume.
