Have you said to your teen, that outfit is inappropriate for school? Or your outfit isn't leaving much up to the imagination? Having a talk about clothes with our kids isn't a traditional sex talk but one that almost every parent has with their kids. Many parents start this talk with a negative statement about what their teen daughter is wearing. I am intentionally using gender here, because this conversation is dominated towards teen girls and individuals who identify as girls. Rarely do you see parents judging the outfits their sons or individuals who identify as boys are wearing. And this is a consequence of our society's attitudes towards men and women. There is a lot to unpack on this topic, but this video is designed to give you 3 questions to start asking your child at any age about their clothes.
