Jesse Zhang, is a co-founder of https://beacons.ai, a website builder for creators, a Series A startup, backed by a16z and the chainsmokers. Before Beacons Jesse got his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford, where he was developing new methods for designing more robust deep learning models for RNA sequencing. In this conversation we cover why Jesse decided to start a creator economy startups, instead of pursuing a high earning job as an ML Engineer, the hard first 2 years dealing with a lot of cofounder conflict, his perspective on struggles and challenges in life and a lot more.
