1) configuring the BIOS to recommended settings https://TinkerTry.com/recommended-bio...
2) inserting the new USB drive into a front USB port
3) connecting to iKVM using browser
4) use iKVM to mount the ESXi installer ISO
5) choose F11 at boot to choose that virtual CDROM drive
6) installing ESXi onto the USB drive.
That's it!
Jul 20 2016 Update - In the future, a TinkerTry'd Bundle might be offered, but it turns out that the memory ships separately from the system, and no 4 hour burn-in test is included, with this 1U variant. Article updated accordingly to disclose these details that differ.
