Here's how you can add more divisions to your cylindrical object in Blender (even after confirming the creation of the object.)

Hopefully a useful tip for you! It would be nice if we didn't had to do this, and we could keep the properties of the object as a modifier in the modifier stack such as in 3DS Max. But maybe for the future, who knows :)
