How to Fill Out and Place Transportation Tag on Turkey - Iowa DNR
Hunters who successfully harvest a wild turkey are required to apply a transportation tag that includes notching the tag with the day and month the bird was taken. This validates the tag and the bird that it’s attached to. Wildlife biologist Jim Coffey demonstrates.
