After a successful test concert in Berlin and a sold out tour in The Netherlands, the Breathing Concerts will be followed up at a number of power places in the Netherlands in december. Adrian Kuipers (composer of the breath music on TheBreathworkMovement.nl) had a vision to combine music and breath in places of power such as churches and cathedrals. Not only for inner healing, but also externally, into the world, thanks to the locations. Adrian: “Churches are often built on ley lines and contain beautiful sacred geometry. They are perfect resonance boxes!”
Which techniques…
The music is tuned to the different breathing techniques and between the breathing sessions the sound shamans Cornelia Dola Tulke and Bohodar Shved improvise to the space, the people and the moment.
The whole thing starts with a grounding exercise and drum journey (cleansing), as has been done for generations in old shamanic cultures. This is the basis for the further breath journey.
Four breathing techniques are practiced during the concert: heart coherence breathing, pole breathing (derived from box breathing), with love breathing (inspired by Wim Hof’s breathing) and HaJaSoHa breathing, which uses the power of the voice.
