Gentoo Linux: Updating your Kernel
When first moving to Gentoo Linux, you might notice that your kernel version is older than on other distros like Arch Linux. This video goes through the process of how to emerge, and transfer your config to a new kernel. This video targets efibootmgr, but you can adapt these instructions to your boot loader.
