Luka Rocco Magnotta arrives back in Canada
Read story here http://natpo.st/NMN24e Alleged killer returns in shackles to face judge. Dressed in a green sweatshirt, dark jeans and handcuffs, a sullen-looking Luka Rocca Magnotta faced the cameras back in Canada Monday night for the first time since his arrest earlier this month in Berlin.
Unlike the dozens of preening model photographs that have become synonymous with Magnotta's self-created image, this video shows him without any makeup, his skin blotchy, his hair kept short.
Six police officers accompanied Magnotta, who was described as extremely quiet, on the flight back to Canada. Police said no commercial airline company was willing for Magnotta to be flown back on one of their planes, which is why a military jet was used.
