**THE WORD "UTAKATA" when written as ウタカタ, as it was in the lyrics, is just gibberish. The word "utakata", written in other ways, can mean "poem fragrance", "ephemeral", "bubbles", and "that guy from Naruto". I loosely used "ephemeral", or basically what "ephemeral" describes - a "fleeting existence".
JUST LIKE HUMANITY.

anyway yeah just getting that out there.

[NOTES ON TRANSLATION]
1 - Please note that I pretty much ran the kanji lyrics through 3 different translators online, cleaned the grammar, and added my interpretations to achieve this translation. It is by no means completely accurate. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY CORRECTIONS.

2 - The Japanese language doesn't always have subjects in their sentences. My (failed) translation is merely my own interpretation, which might be totally wrong.

3 - This is not a purely literal translation.

4 - I am a disgrace to all subbers. (But at least I try to make the subbing sound coherent)
