GFNY Global Endurance Sports Series adds GFNY Kota Kinabalu as one of now six GFNY races in Asia aside from the Indonesian races in Bali and Mandalika, Krabi and Khao Yai in Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The competitive long distance is 135.3km with 1397m of climbing with start and finish at Sabah State Administrative Centre (PPNS), Borneo´s second tallest building. The course will take riders along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, a coastal road that skirts the Likas Bay into the city of Kota Kinabalu and up short but serious climbs of Jalan Kolam Minintod. Riders will get a glimpse of the infamous Mount Kinabalu while enjoying a very challenging climb.
