In Friday afternoon traffic, I went on an unplanned 225 mile round trip from CT into NYC and back again. I left with my 2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range at 83% charge, using AutoPilot for much of the drive. You'll see and hear me explain some detailed trip stats, in summary, I saw 100% efficiency, 147 average MPGe, and arrived home with 6% charge, so no Supercharging stops were required. In this instance, stop-and-go traffic actually helped my range, so now you know, traffic isn't a concern.

On Friday March 18th, I had time off from work to do an errand for family. This adventure wound up taking about 6 hours to cover 225 miles in all. One stretch took 76 minutes to go just 15 miles!

AutoPilot was very much my friend, relieving me of most of the stress of stop-and-go traffic, turning what would normally be a miserable experience into an actually pleasant adventure, filled with silly but great sounding music, and getting caught up on some podcasts.
What a view of the George Washington Bridge on this 76°F day! I was driving in heavy snow just 5 days ago, so my CrossClimate+ tires sure came in handy:

I also managed to sneak in some brief, slow #FSDBeta use in Manhattan, with edge cases happening every mile. At one point, you'll see a police officer waving me through a left red arrow, for example.

Finally, you'll pick up numerous tips about Navigation, and the accuracy of Tesla's range estimation:
