Prison overcrowding: Send criminals to Estonia? Feat. Owen Jones & Saira Khan | Jeremy Vine
Ministers are considering plans to send criminals to Estonian jails, as men's prisons in England and Wales almost ran out of space last month.
Estonia, which is 2000 miles from the UK, has a low crime rate and half empty prisons.
It's also 30-40,000 pounds cheaper to house a prisoner there, than it is here.
