Every franchise organization has a document called the FDD (franchise disclosure document), and a franchise agreement. These are very lengthy documents with a lot of information in it that could be confusing. We highly suggest using a franchise attorney, who specializes in franchise law, and not just a business attorney, who may not have the in-depth experience dealing with Franchise organizations on a day-to-day basis.
