폐막공연 '조상현&신영희의 빅쇼'

1995년 8월, KBS 음악 프로그램 ‘KBS빅쇼’에 조상현·신영희 명창이 ‘조상현·신영희 소리로 한세상’이라는 타이틀로 무대를 선보인 바 있다. 당시 콘서트 형식으로 진행된 대중음악 중심의 음악쇼였던만큼 두 국악인의 출연은 당시 두 분의 인기와 위상을 실감하게 했다. 그로부터 30여 년이 흐른 지금, 두 명창이 다시 한번 한 무대에 올랐다. 두 명창이 오랜 세월 켜켜이 쌓아온 소리꾼으로서의 삶을 오롯이 담아낸 이 감개무량한 무대는 오직 소리축제에서만 볼 수 있는 특권이다.

Closing Concertt 「Cho Sanghyeon & Shin Yeonghee’s BigShow」

Closing Concert of the 2024 Jeonju International Sori Festival with Master Cho Sanghyeon and Shin Yeonghee! By tracing the history of Korean music as well as the process of traditional sounds and their popularization, the performance aims to rivisit the meanings of the Sori Festival at this moment. The concert will symbolize the handing down of what master musicians have intensely preserved to the future generations.
