Doogee N30 - big ambitions, small results?
For many years, Dodge has been at the borderline between the leaders of the Chinese smartphone market and second-rate brands. Lack of budget for competent marketing, controversial phones in the range and not always optimized software can alienate a potential user from the corporation's products, but sometimes the manufacturer produces extremely competitive devices that you just want to buy yourself. The hero of today's review is partially close to this definition.
The appearance of the novelty meets all modern standards. A fingerprint sensor, stylish four cameras in the upper left corner of the rear panel, skillfully selected colors of gadgets, an 8-megapixel "front-facing" camera in an almost frameless 6.55-inch display look modern and harmonious. Only the polycarbonate of the case indicates that the phablet belongs to the lower-middle price category. But the used OGS- screen is endowed with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels, sufficient brightness and contrast for direct sunlight. It will be difficult for a not too sophisticated buyer to find fault with such an IPS panel, although the clarity of the picture could be higher.
Technical specifications are perhaps the weakest part of the Android smartphone in question. The Mediatek Helio A25 processor , 4GB of RAM and the PowerVR GE8320 graphics adapter do not match the performance of full-fledged gaming solutions, allowing gamers to try out resource-intensive games only with minimal graphics settings. But the volume of the built-in storage has been brought up to 128GB , the microSD card slot actually eliminates the problem of lack of memory.
The main 16-, 8- and 2-megapixel (pair) photo modules have not advanced in their photographic capabilities. Daytime photography in terms of natural color rendition and detailing almost does not differ from that of its predecessors, evening photography is even less impressive. Noises and smears appear, although the overall quality of the photo is not yet frankly bad. The battery capacity is 4500mAh . For about two days of active use, you don't have to think about sockets and power banks. It is worth mentioning such advantages of the device as Android Q , reasonable price. Unfortunately, there are no NFC contactless payments. As a result, the device will win the hearts of lovers of beautiful and autonomous mobile assistants. For everything else, you should refer to the proposals of your opponents.
