Is it safe to send your kid to a sleepover? Many parents are concerned about sending their kids to a sleepover due to the rise in awareness of CSA. CSA survivors have been sharing their stories of victimization that occurred at a sleepover when they were young on social media and parents are taking notice. Many parents are deciding to eliminate sleepovers altogether and not allowing their child to attend any sleepover. While other parents don't see anything inherently wrong with sleepovers. And other parents have no idea what decision to make about whether or not their child should attend sleepovers and are looking for guidance.
If you are concerned about how to keep your child safe while at a sleepover - here's my guidance! In this video I talk about 5 boundaries I put in place with my kids to decide if they were ready to attend their first sleepover. Do you have these boundaries in place too?
