We wrote this song while I was going through the third stage of denial; bargaining. I was having terrible recurring nightmares that kept me up each night, allowing me to obsess over everything that I could have done differently that would have prevented everything that had happened. When I sing about the different things (faces/demons/etc) that were keeping me up, these were just the personifications of my own intrusive thoughts. In these moments, the nightmare had become both my sleeping and waking reality.
Glooms -
Glooms is an LA based artist, who grew up in the Minneapolis music scene. After dropping out of college and moving to LA after a major medical event, he started crafting his own style of dark, alternative pop. He took quarantine as an opportunity to focus on writing, working and making songs for various other artists, before teaming up with former highschool bandmate BabyAK to craft his next project.
