Shot in 1999 by Thom Pollard and Dave Hahn, this footage shows a ferocious wind storm that pinned our team for several days at Camp V on the North Ridge of Everest. Brought on by a jet stream trough, we faced winds of 90mph or more, battering our tents relentlessly.
When the storm finally relented, we continued with our summit bid, moving from Camp V to Camp VI (27,200 feet) and then on to the summit push.
