DJ stent are placed routinely after laparoscopic pyeloplasty. Occasionally it migrates in the ureter and rarely in pelvis of the kidney. Migration of pelvis can happen especially when there is associated vesicle-ureteral reflux which was not known before surgery. This video clip is post pyeloplasty migration of DJ stent in pelvis of the kidney, He was lateron was found to have high grade VUR. It was easy to insert the URS and remove the stent. If ureter is not dilated then one should do cystoscopy and insert one more DJ stent for induction of ureteral dilation. After two weeks one can do URS to remove both the stents.
