I replaced my own roof // DIY Home Improvement
I replaced my roof by myself. The existing roof was 22 years old and way past its prime. This was one of the hardest home improvement projects I have done, as hard as my kitchen reno.
Materials was approx $3000.00 Canadian and purchased from at Home Depot.
I used GAF 3 tab asphalt shingles and a Bostitch air nailer.
All material were carried up to the roof.
I will confess that my father was a roofing contractor and I spent my youth up on a roof. I'm not professionally trained but I know enough to get it done and was aware it was going to be hard work!
