Ford unveiled their new Rally-Raid monster at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed. It's called Raptor T1+, where ''T1+'' refers to Dakar's T1+ class, and it's been developed in collaboration with long-term Ford Performance partners, M-Sport Ltd.
The vehicle, composed of T45 steel spaceframe and carbon fiber body, is powered by a Coyote-based 5.0-liter V8 engine. Overall vehicle weight is set at two tonnes, in line with racing regulations for 4x4 trucks.
The Raptor T1+ will be driven by four teams of drivers and navigators, including Carlos Sainz Sr. with navigator Lucas Cruz, and Nani Roma with navigator Alex Haro. Watch it doing some demo runs on Goodwood hillclilmb course!
