My video editor and I found 2 settings in the BIOS of my New Dell XPS 17 laptop that were causing a couple of my CPU cores to overheat (reaching to 100° C). In this video I walk you through how to fix it.

TL;DR
Make these changes in BIOS Settings (BIOS settings button is F2 key on laptop startup):

1. Power - Battery Configuration

Change: Adaptive - Primarily AC Use (only if you use your laptop primarily plugged in most of the time, which I think is the best way to preserve your battery, but NOT IF ITS BEING DRAINED LIKE ON ADAPTIVE MODE)

2. Performance - Intel Turbo Boost Technology and/or Intel Turbo Boost Maximum Technology 3.0

Change: On - Off (I believe this is the primary one that was overheating my PC)
