Being Swallowed by an Anaconda
In the hot, tropical swamps of South America live giant anacondas. These creepy crawlers thrive in the heat and humidity. But anacondas don’t always have the classiest dining etiquette. These dangerous reptiles prefer to swallow their prey whole. If you crossed an anaconda’s path on its home turf, would it try to swallow you?
First, they’ll try to squeeze you to death. Who doesn’t love a tight hug with 62,000 kilopascals (9,000 psi) of pressure?
