Phutane kadi is a very delicious North Karnataka delicacy. It is a traditional food that is prepared at my home. My great grandmom use to make it and serve it along with ragi ball. This recipe is not widely known but it’s worth trying out. I didn't want this recipe to be lost. For this reason, it is one of my first few recipes in avocadomeetsegg. It is very quick to make and can be eaten with rice, ragi ball, or jowar ball (jolada mudde).
