Stadium Arcadium (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Full Album bass cover.
I tryed to do EVERYTHING like Flea did on this double album... using the same basses, pedals and configurations.
Gear used to record:
Fender Jazz Bass 61 model (AVRI 99)
Modulus Flea Bass (used only in Storm In A Teacup)
Dunlop Crybaby Bass-Wah (Hump De Bump)
Boss ODB-3 (So Much I, Storm In A Teacup, Death of a Martian)
Electro Harmonix QTRON Envelope Filter (Warlocks, 21st Century)
I recorded the basses directly in one Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface, with Ableton Live 8.2.4. Export the audio and mixed with the video using Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5. Video was recorded using a Go Pro Hero 5.
For the geeks and gearheads, the Fender Jazz Bass was with VERY OLD strings.... like Flea loves to use to record. I used Neck Pickup Volume 100%, and tone 30%, Bridge Pickup Volume 100% and tone 20% in: Snow, Slow Cheeath, Warlocks, Hey, Hard To Concentrate, If, Make You Feel Better, We Believe and Death of a Martian.
To the rest, I used Volume 100% and tone 50% to both pickups.
On Storm In A Teacup, Modulus is with half life strings...I used Bass boosted 80% and Treble boosted 60%.
