Welcome to The Gathering
As we end week 14 of our extended 24-week campaign in making The Gathering’s only debut album, In the End, a reality, thanks go out to Brent, Oliver (no, not that Oliver 😉; he remains calm and distant) and Alan, our three most recent newly invested conscripts. Like the other 24 before you, you all saw fit to commit cash to our cause in getting our lamb to the slaughter; for that, we owe you a massive debt of gratitude.
To the uninitiated, that term may seem harsh but fear not, there’s nothing sinister afoot here; it’s a lyric from “Lambstricken”, one of the seven gems that make up In the End. Once you hear the track here, you’ll better understand the artistic license (I hope).
On to the week ahead and a hopeful handful of new sign-ups to join our growing army of post-punk protectors.
