Another week, another dollar, yes, that’s quite a few rand 😉
At The Gathering, some of us enjoyed celebrating our heritage this past long weekend, while others dodged torrential rain, all while watching the Springboks get read the riot act on who should be kicking, and no, short people cannot kick 50 metres – not even with 60 million people backing him.
Anyhow, here we are, another week closer to our 31 October 2023 deadline. That’s when we take the beast that is In the End and put her into production. I say her, because the gusto and fortitude it has taken to get to this point, thanks to you beautiful people, takes a matriarch to deliver. I am channelling my late mum most days and here we are, still active, still relevant and pushing the proverbial needle. As she infamously used to say, ‘because you never know…’ And that’s kind of why we’re all here, we want to know and, more importantly, own a slice of our shared history in music.
As a token of our ongoing appreciation to each one of you, here’s a rudimentary video of Ashton Nyte’s 2000 remix of “Perfect Souls”, another titbit ahead of the 31 October production date.

The approach to press is to secure 150 copies paid for before we go into total production. If we don’t hit that number, all monies paid will be fully reimbursed. Our official campaign began on 1 May and will run until 31 October 2023.
We hope to have secured the minimum 150 manufacturing orders by that point. The music and artwork will be shared with you once the payment is received, and should we not make that golden number, the music and artwork will remain yours to keep, regardless of a possible reimbursement.
Depending on where you are based, the shipping fee differs.
The cost per single 12” vinyl is R450, plus shipping, which, if you are based within South Africa, will be an additional R250 (door-to-door and within 48 hours of shipping).

I will need your full address to confirm the shipping costs, but the cost of vinyl is R450 per unit beyond ZA. Shipping will not be cheap, but if I ship from Europe, it will be way more affordable than ZA. I will hold 50 copies for shipping, so we can figure that out closer if you like.
The base commitment is all we need for now, and we can confirm the shipping costs closer to the time for you to make the balance of the payment for the latter, should you be based overseas.
