At the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, Wu Mei fled to Southern Shaolin because her father, Wu Yitang, had offended the court dignitaries and went to the Southern Shaolin disciple Zhishan, who was her childhood friend. In order to help Wu Mei save her father, Zhi Shan created the amazing magic fist "Yongchun Fist". Finally, with the help of the monks from the Southern Shaolin Temple and Zhishan, Wu Mei rescued her father.

The Southern Shaolin Temple was destroyed. Zhishan fell into the river while trying to save others and was swept away by the rapids while escaping. He was rescued on a red boat a few days later. Zhishan suffered a brain injury and lost his memory. He accidentally met Wu Mei who was looking for him along the river. With the help of Red Boat Su Sanniang, he uncovered the traitor's conspiracy and prevented the scattered disciples of Southern Shaolin from being killed.
