Machete attack victim attends alleged assailant's court hearing
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — A woman nearly killed in a violent machete attack faced her alleged attacker in a courtroom Tuesday.
Tina Schreib continues her courageous road back from that terrible night of April 18 and now hopes her accused assailant will face justice.

Before entering the courtroom Tuesday, Schreib recalled the brutal incident that took place at her Dewey Avenue apartment.
"I did not know the extent of my injuries, but I did see some blood, a little blood on the floor," she said. "I grabbed a pillow and put in on my stomach and told myself I had to crawl to the door or I was going to die."
After returning from a night out with friends, she says her boyfriend, David Lampman, began to argue with her.
"He came back and said 'So you’re really doing this?' and just the look in his eye, I was like, something’s going down," she recalled.
Schreib says Lampman started attacking her with a machete.
